In this series, we explore the concept of fear. Fear can paralyze us and cause us to stop being generous with our lives. We carry all sorts of fears about our relationship with God. Do we trust that God loves us? Do we trust that he’ll provide?
Fear can quickly cripple our willingness and desire to love our neighbors. The message of Christ inspires us to live differently. In Luke, Jesus asks a lunch host to invite not their friends to a lunch, but rather those who have no opportunity to return the favor.
We are challenged this week to consider how we might plan to be more hospitable. To do so, we need to make time for others, budget for this and look for opportunities.
