Each year North Park invites the neighborhood to help beautify the campus of Bertha Holt elementary school. With district budget cuts, grounds-keeping has become nearly impossible for school staff. Our volunteers have,
- weeded
- cleaned windows
- spread bark chips on the playground and running track
- pressure-washed
- hedged
and more to make the school grounds beautiful for the start of school in September.
