In this series, we explore the concept of fear. Fear can paralyze us and cause us to stop being generous with our lives. We carry all sorts of fears about our relationship with God. Do we trust that God loves us? Do we trust that he’ll provide?
Fear can cause us to act out against others who may hurt us. Instead, we are challenged to be peacemakers. In this sermon, Aaron shares the story of Jesus’ betrayal in Matthew 26:47-56 as an example of a disciple acting out in fear.
This week, consider what it would cost you to be a peacemaker. What is one action you can take this week to bring reconciliation to the world?
